Creatures of Doamanse
Falkish are flying creatures associated most closely with Waring, Kerry’s companion.
They represent a different kind of bond from Ray and True or Tall and his creatures. Waring can leave, return, watch, warn, and act — not because he is commanded, but because loyalty does not always mean staying still.
Falkish are feathered flying creatures with faint reptilian deep lineage — not dragons, not wivres, and not ordinary birds.
Falkish read primarily as sharp, birdlike aerial companions while retaining Magic Lands strangeness.
Falkish are feathered, winged, watchful, and expressive. Their movement should feel quick, aerial, intelligent, and alert.
They are not ordinary birds. They belong to Doamanse’s stranger creature ecology.
Falkish have faint reptilian ancestry in their deep creature line. This should give them a slight otherworldly edge without making them dragons, wivres, or scaled reptiles in ordinary presentation.
Their emotional role is watchfulness, warning, wild loyalty, and return.
Waring is Kerry’s falkish companion. His absence matters. His return matters more.

Waring’s bond with Kerry is not a leash. He may vanish. He may return. He may act on instinct or knowledge of his own.
That makes him a strong expression of Magic Lands’ larger theme: connection does not require possession.
For Kerry, Waring is part of home, survival, memory, and courage.
A falkish can watch from above, notice motion, return with warning, and embody the aerial side of survival.
Waring’s loyalty is not still or tame. It is alive because it can move, leave, decide, and return.
The falkish bond shows that a companion can be deeply tied to someone without becoming a commanded thing.
